본 교과목은 학생들이 헬스케어 시스템 간 데이터 교환과 네트워크 통신의 기초를 이해하도록 설계되었다. 일반 컴퓨터 네트워킹 원리에서 출발하여, 보건의료정보학 교재(대한의료정보학회, 4판)를 중심으로 병원정보시스템, 보건의료정보 표준, 상호운용성, 의료영상정보학, 원격의료, 정보보호까지 다룬다.
이론 수업은 교재의 실제 챕터 순서를 따라 진행하되, 실습 프로젝트(ESP32/MQTT/Node-RED 기반 헬스케어 IoT 파이프라인)를 통해 이론과 실무를 연결한다. 본 과목은 다음 학기 개설되는 바이오메디컬데이터베이스 교과목과 유기적으로 연계되며, 두 과목 모두 동일한 교재를 공통 기반으로 활용한다.
This course is designed to help students understand the fundamentals of data exchange and network communication between healthcare systems. Starting from general computer networking principles, it covers hospital information systems, healthcare information standards, interoperability, medical imaging informatics, telemedicine, and information security, centered around the textbook “Health Informatics” (Korean Society of Medical Informatics, 4th edition).
Theoretical classes follow the actual chapter order of the textbook, while practical projects (ESP32/MQTT/Node-RED-based healthcare IoT pipeline) connect theory with practice. This course is organically linked with the Biomedical Database course offered in the next semester, and both courses utilize the same textbook as a common foundation.
