Life happens. This policy gives you flexibility through a bank of late days each semester, while still ensuring fairness to all students. 살다 보면 예상치 못한 일이 생깁니다. 이 정책은 학기마다 지각 유예 일수를 통해 유연성을 제공하면서도 모든 학생에 대한 공정성을 보장합니다.
Late Days지각 유예 일수
You have 6 total late days for the semester, usable on any homework assignment. Late days are counted by calendar day — a new late day begins at 12:00 am KST. 학기 전체에 걸쳐 어떤 과제에도 사용 가능한 총 6일의 지각 유예 일수가 있습니다. 지각일은 역일 기준으로 계산됩니다 — 새 지각일은 한국 표준시 오전 12시에 시작합니다.
- 01 Late days are applied automatically — no need to ask permission.지각일은 자동으로 적용됩니다 — 허가를 요청할 필요가 없습니다.
- 02 You can use multiple late days on a single assignment (e.g., 2 days late = 2 late days used).단일 과제에 여러 지각일을 사용할 수 있습니다(예: 2일 지각 = 지각일 2일 사용).
- 03 Late days do not apply to in-class practice exercises, tests, or final projects.지각일은 수업 내 실습, 시험 또는 최종 프로젝트에는 적용되지 않습니다.
Penalty Schedule감점 일정
- 01 On time: Full credit.제때 제출: 전점.
- 02 Within late-day allowance: Full credit — no penalty.지각 유예 일수 내: 전점 — 감점 없음.
- 03 After late days exhausted: 50% penalty per calendar day late (≈2.08% per hour).지각 유예 일수 소진 후: 역일 기준 지각일당 50% 감점(≈시간당 2.08%).
- 04 48+ hours after late days exhausted: Zero credit. However, you must still submit to meet the 75% minimum.지각 유예 일수 소진 48시간 이후: 0점. 단, 75% 최소 기준을 충족하려면 여전히 제출해야 합니다.
Minimum Submission Requirement최소 제출 요건
You must submit at least 75% of all assignments and practice exercises (even for zero credit) to pass the course. An incomplete or late submission that earns zero is still better than no submission at all. 과락 방지를 위해 모든 과제와 실습의 최소 75%를 제출해야 합니다(0점이라도). 0점을 받는 불완전하거나 지각 제출이 아예 제출하지 않는 것보다 낫습니다.
Exceptions예외
In cases of extended serious illness, family emergency, or other exceptional circumstances, contact me as early as possible. Extensions beyond your late-day bank may be granted at my discretion with appropriate documentation. 장기 질병, 가족 위기 또는 기타 예외적인 상황의 경우 가능한 한 빨리 연락해 주세요. 적절한 서류와 함께 내 재량으로 지각일 이상의 연장이 허용될 수 있습니다.
Late days and extensions do not apply to tests, exams, or in-class activities that were missed due to unexcused absence. 지각일과 연장은 정당하지 않은 결석으로 놓친 시험이나 수업 내 활동에는 적용되지 않습니다.
